Sport is full of talent nobody ever sees.
Urankin makes it visible. The sporting career network: from grassroots to elite, in every sport and in any country in the world.
The product is built and running. Every figure on this page says where it comes from.
The problem
To get signed, somebody has to see you.
Talent discovery still works the way it did thirty years ago: a scout only sees what they can visit in person, and only gets there through referrals. That does not limit the talent out there. It limits the bandwidth of the person looking.
A scout does not need more candidates: they have too many. What they do not have is someone to trust.
The measure
For every elite athlete in Spain there are 740 athletes registered with a federation. Each dot here is a person who devotes their life to sport and whom nobody is watching.
One.
And what they do is recorded nowhere.
The season gets played, talked about in the club group chat, and then it disappears. In June the group is archived. No history is left, there is nothing to show and, above all, nothing to search.
The solution
The network of your sporting career.
- Your sporting story
- Teams, seasons, achievements and video, verified by the clubs you played for
- The season, live
- Every week’s results go into your record automatically. Nobody fills in a form
- And when someone is looking
- Clubs, scouts and universities filter by sport, age group and area, and they find you
We don’t measure how fast you run. We tell the story of who you are and where you’re going.
The order of those three rows is the whole thesis: first what is delivered every time, and discovery last, as a consequence. Promising the signing is promising something a third party decides.
The engine
A CV is opened twice a year. A season is lived every week.
- The match is played on Saturday
- The coach uploads the result in thirty seconds
- Every athlete’s season updates itself
- Each of them gets their moment, ready to share
- Teammates and families from the same club come in↺
The people using it do the outreach, not an advertising budget. An ad buys one visit; a shared card brings in a whole club.
What we have built
This is not an idea. It is built.
One person. Months, not years.
- Public website, user dashboard, internal console and mobile app, all running.
- Billing on an append-only ledger guaranteed by the database, not by convention.
- One audit per feature, one spec sheet per screen, and a verification gate you have to pass before anything is closed.
- Our own ad server: when scale arrives, the margin stays in-house.
- Thirteen checkpoints that define what finished means. The technical risk is already retired.
The market
One and a half billion people play sport. Not one platform is built for grassroots sport.
And this is not a European market. The pyramid is the same in every country: almost everyone is at the base and all the infrastructure is aimed at the top. The dominant sport changes and the size changes. The shape does not.

Of those one and a half billion, some 400 million play in a club, a school or a federation. That is where there is a story worth recording and someone for whom it is worth paying: that is the market we are going after.
And the same arithmetic, step by step
- One province1,500clubs assumption
- Spain77,000clubs sourced
- Europe700,000clubs sourced
- The world2,500,000clubs, schools with teams and academies assumption
China counts towards the ceiling, not the plan: without a local partner, a licence and data residency it is not a market you enter from here. We are saying so before anyone asks.
The model
The club pays first. And nobody pays to appear first.
- Who pays first
- The club, the federation and the organiser. Annual and up front, in step with the season
- What the athlete pays
- Nothing just for being there or showing up. Only tools: making the first move instead of waiting, their verified record, seeing who is looking for them
- What is not for sale, at any price
- Appearing first, being recommended, being signed. The order is decided by the story, never by a credit card
- Who joins
- A whole team with its coach, in one sport, one province, one age group
LinkedIn charges all three, and the individual is the small leg resting on the other two. That is the lesson, and it is literal: without the club on board, an athlete’s subscription buys nothing, because it buys being seen by someone who is not looking.
The model
Four engines, and the first one bills without a single athlete paying.
| What we sell | Who pays for it | How much |
|---|---|---|
| Urankin Club, up to three teams | The club or academy | €490 a year |
| Each additional team | The same club | €90 a year |
| Tournament or competition | Whoever runs it | €200 per event |
| Urankin Pro | The athlete who wants tools | €29 a year |
| Advertising, on our own ad server | The advertiser, once there is an audience | the whole CPM, no middleman |
Annual and up front, on purpose: the unit of time in this market is the season, not the month, and the moment to charge is September, when the family pays the club fee and the kit.
The ad server is built and it is ours, so the day there is an audience the margin stays in-house instead of being handed to a middleman. Until then it bills nothing, which is why it does not count on the first rung. A minor is never profiled, audience or no audience.
The ladder
One club is €490. The same arithmetic, four rungs up, is a different conversation.
- One club490€a yearand it brings in about thirty athletes at onceassumption
- One activated region215,000€a year300 clubs, their tournaments and 3 % of their athletes on Pro. No advertising yet: there is no audience to sellassumption
- Spain at 5 % of its clubs3.3M€a year3,850 of the country’s 77,000 clubsassumption
- Europe at 2 %12M€a year14,000 of the continent’s 700,000 clubsassumption
That is why the money does not buy users: it buys the first region, and the answer to what it costs to activate a club and how many are still active after ninety days. With that number measured, the three rungs above stop being arithmetic.
Average of €600 per club (€490 base plus a couple of extra teams), 3 % of athletes on Pro, and advertising counted only from the country rung up, which is where an audience exists. All three are stated assumptions and none has been validated with a real club yet: that is exactly what the pilot is there to measure.
The moat
What is scarce in this market is not talent. It is knowing who to trust.
- Recruiters have more candidates than they need. What they lack is a track record someone has put their name to.
- The coach’s testimonial is exactly that, and here it cannot be altered: once issued it can never be edited or deleted. The database guarantees it, not a team convention.
- Instagram gives you an audience. Nobody gets signed because of a reel.
The competition
Our competitor is not a platform. It is the club WhatsApp group.
| Who | Why it wins today | Why it is not enough |
|---|---|---|
| The club WhatsApp group | It is where almost everything happens. Free, and everyone trusts it | It keeps nothing. In June it gets archived |
| The audience you already have | It expires, and you cannot filter it by age group | |
| Doing nothing | It works for what almost everyone realistically expects | And the story is lost all the same |
We do not have to beat the elite platforms. We have to be the memory of the club group chat.
The legal side
Solved by design, which is why it is a barrier to entry.
- Minors: profile invisible by default to anyone unverified. No adult ever messages a minor: they message the parent or guardian, and the guardian is part of the conversation.
- Digital Services Act, Article 28: no advertising based on profiling is ever shown to a minor.
- EU AI Act: the classification was commissioned under the most demanding assumption, and the athlete chooses the ordering of their own visibility.
- Consents recorded so they cannot be altered: who authorised what, and when.
- Spanish and European invoicing: immutable ledger, VAT by country and Verifactu under way.
In a product with minors inside, this is a moat and not a burden: it is work any newcomer will also have to do.
The plan
Six months to get the one number that is missing.
- Month 1Ten conversations with the people who actually do the signing
- Months 1 to 3Twenty sales attempts to clubs, with their answers written down
- Months 2 to 4The weekly season cycle and the club dashboard
- Months 5 and 6A real pilot: one season, one sport, one province
In six months we will know what it costs to activate a whole club and how many are still active after ninety days. It is the only thing that can be promised, and it decides everything else.
Every part of your life has its platform. The sporting one does not.
That gap is one and a half billion people around the world, and today nobody fills it.
